Just Car Insurance and Mighty Car Mods raise more than $20k for ReachOut

07 May 2015
Just Car Insurance and Mighty Car Mods have raised $20,100 for ReachOut in the online auction of the awesome modified Honda S2000.

Modified over five episodes of Marty and Moog’s hugely popular show Mighty Car Mods, the Honda S2000 was sold via an eBay auction.

In the lead up to the auction the car was on display at major motoring events including the Just Car Insurance Australian Drifting Grand Prix, Powercruise and the Mighty Car Mods Nationals at Sydney Dragway, where ReachOut Ambassador Andrew Morley gave the car a test-drive.

Jono Nicholas, CEO of ReachOut Australia, said “It’s a crucial time to be providing online support for young people, as new research estimates that 48% of the young people who visited ReachOut in March 2015 had considered suicide.

“Thanks to Just Car Insurance and Mighty Car Mods, these funds mean that more young Australians can access mental health help where and when they need it, through ReachOut.com.”
