Monday, 6 June 2011 – Project // young men (Sydney): Inspire will host an exclusive viewing in Sydney of photographic works created by 23-year-old Conor Ashleigh. Conor spent two weeks capturing images and stories of what it means to be a young man living in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. This exhibition is part of Inspire’s work to reduce suicide in young men. Suicide is the leading cause of death amongst young men in Australia. In 2010, Inspire led research into men’s attitudes towards seeking help in partnership with the Brain & Mind Research Institute.
