Webinar: Supporting Year 12 students at exam time

06 Aug 2015
More than 220,000 students go through their Year 12 exams each year, in what can be the most stressful time of their school experience. On 20 August 2015, we’ll broadcast a webinar to equip teachers and other school-based professionals to help their students relieve the pressure so they can focus on study, rather than stress.

At the webinar, Jackie McIver (National Program Manager, ReachOut Schools) will be joined by Maryanne Vorreiter (Principals Australia Institute and the MindMatters initiative) and Isabella Merrilees-White (ReachOut Youth Ambassador). Together, they’ll cover how teachers and wellbeing staff can support students, parents and carers through the stressful exam period.

After the webinar, a free classroom teaching package will be available, including advice, tips and resources on everything from positive attitudes to preparing study timetables. Can’t make the webinar and want the pack, or you’re a parent and think it might be useful? Sign up to receive the pack.
