TV star Rahart Adams joins ReachOut as an Ambassador

07 Jul 2016
20-year-old Australian television star Rahart Adams has joined ReachOut Australia as an Ambassador.

Rahart says, ‘I’m so glad to join ReachOut as an Ambassador. ReachOut does epic work and I’m looking forward to helping them raise awareness of bullying and mental health.

‘Bullying is so common at high school, but it doesn’t have to be. When I was at school I saw it happen and even came up against it sometimes, but hopefully by showing young people that they can get help through places like ReachOut we can make it easier for them to deal with.’

Rahart is well-known among 14–25-year-old audiences following his roles in the ABC’s teen drama series Nowhere Boys and Nickelodeon productions Every Witch Way and Liar, Liar Vampire. The second-oldest of four children, Rahart grew up in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs.

Rahart will also join ReachOut’s There’s Life After Year 12 Exams campaign in October, bringing his voice to the 100+ strong group of prominent Australians who’ve shared their story of life after Year 12 exams.
