TheMHS Achievement Award recognises ReachOut.com for innovation

ReachOut.com's commitment to continuous innovation has been recognised with the A&NZ Mental Health Services Gold Achievement Award.

Announced at the Mental Health Services Conference of Australia and New Zealand on 27 August, the award emphasised ReachOut.com’s leadership in online mental health promotion.

“We’re honoured that theMHS has recognised our longstanding commitment to helping young people,” said Jonathan Nicholas, CEO of ReachOut.com by Inspire Foundation.

ReachOut.com is built on a framework of continuous innovation and development, with a key focus on excellent user experience leading to positive mental health outcomes.

“Our work to improve ReachOut.com’s impact on young people’s mental health is unrelenting. Our cycles of research, design, testing and evaluation incorporate the latest developments in user experience and online mental health promotion,” added Nicholas.

The ReachOut.com platform is a multi-faceted approach to mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention.

“ReachOut.com is designed to provide help to any young person who visits,” said Nicholas.

“Whether it be practical tips for helping a mate with depression, questions that lead a young person to recognise mental illness early on, or contact details for local mental health service, ReachOut.com provides help to every visitor.”
