For the second year, the Palm Beach community got behind a great cause for the Curtis Finn Touch Tournament.
Curtis Finn was a young man who tragically took his own life two years ago. On Saturday June 11, his sister Tamra Forde pulled the community together for the second year in a row - in his honour.
The 2nd Annual Curtis Finn Touch Tournament helped to raise a fantastic $7632.50 and priceless awareness for Inspire and ReachOut.com.
Although fundraising was important for Tamra, her true goal was to raise much needed awareness of this issue.
We’d love to thank Tamra, Jetts Fitness Palm Beach (the event’s main sponsor), all the Palm Beach businesses who supported the event and of course every member of the community who attended and made the day such a success.
Thank you.

“If you've been through something like this, it makes you want to do something about it and make a difference,” she said.
“It helps that we are making a legacy for him, bringing the community together in Curtis' name and helping to raise awareness of this issue in our local community to make a difference.”
Although fundraising was important for Tamra, her true goal was to raise much needed awareness of this issue.
“It's something that has been swept under the rug for some time now,” she said. “Statistics have revealed that suicide is one of the highest fatality causes in young Australians so it's definitely something we believe can't be ignored any longer.”
