ReachOut's plan to reach a million more young people and parents by 2020

23 Mar 2017
We are excited to unveil a bold new plan to significantly increase the numbers of young people and parents accessing mental health support in Australia.

Our new three-year strategic plan is a roadmap that shows how we will help one million extra people by 2020. ReachOut is already the first step for many people in Australia – with more than 1.58 million accessing our digital self-help each year. By 2020, we want to help at least 2.6 million people.

ReachOut Australia CEO Jono Nicholas said, ‘19 years ago, ReachOut was born from a ground-breaking idea to use the internet to make digital self-help available for young people. Even today, we see so much untapped potential to change lives using digital self-help. In fact, we know it’s central to more people accessing the right help at the right time. This is why our new plan focuses on three key pillars: integration, innovation and scale.

‘We are eager to continue our work and to realise our goal to make a real difference to the lives of an extra one million people.’
