ReachOut Australia has collaborated with mental health experts in regional areas to help young people figure out how they’re going and learn about support options.
The resource, called ‘How are you going?’, is a co-production between ReachOut, the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (CRRMH) and the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP).
The project translated an existing diagram into an interactive format specifically targeting young people: an online quiz and an infographic.
For young people in regional Australia, getting help for mental health issues can be tough. These new resources are designed to help them understand locally-relevant support options so that they can take effective steps as soon as they’re ready.
The new infographic poster will head out on the road with RAMHP Coordinators as they journey throughout New South Wales to work with young people, including those living in remote areas.
