Meet our newest ambassadors: Mighty Car Mods

04 Oct 2017
The world’s most popular DIY automotive channel, Mighty Car Mods, and ReachOut will work together to boost awareness of ReachOut’s mental health information and support.

Mighty Car Mods is an independent online video series about modifying cars at home. Created by two friends, Marty and Moog, who started filming videos on Marty’s mum's driveway in 2007, it’s all about showing their viewers fantastic automotive projects that they can do themselves. Mighty Car Mods reaches audiences through YouTube, Qantas in-flight entertainment, and regular events in major Australian cities.

Marty and Moog said, ‘We started doing some work with ReachOut a couple of years ago (the funds from the sale of the S2000 went to them) and we are now proud to be ambassadors.’

‘Tough times and mental health issues are common and we know our fans aren’t immune because they reach out to us with their stories – often related to how working on cars with their friends has helped them through. We think everyone deserves someone to listen to what’s going on but we’re not experts, so we’ve got ReachOut on board to help out.’

ReachOut CEO Jono Nicholas said, ‘With such a massive audience that really looks up to them, it can be hard for Marty and Moog to help every one of their viewers who ask for help. It’s great to have their support as together we can connect their fans with help that’s right for them.’

Check out Mighty Car Mods on YouTube, Facebook, or head down to one of their upcoming events where they’ll be raising funds for ReachOut.
