Based on research insights and informed by extensive consultation with young people, our latest campaign highlights the most common issues affecting young people and lets them know that ReachOut is here to help.
Made possible by the generosity of our supporters and advertising partners, the campaign appears on Facebook, Instagram and Spotify, and in places like shopping centres, PCYC clubs and cinemas.
‘The campaign’s significant emphasis on digital advertising connects young people directly to our service, where they can immediately learn about what’s going on and what they can do about it,’ says ReachOut CEO Jono Nicholas.
‘We know that many of these young people will learn the words to describe what’s going on from visiting ReachOut and gain the courage and confidence to go on and seek help from friends, family and support services.’
Developed by Yonder, the same team behind our campaign targeting parents of teenagers, the new campaign uses a still image with elements of movement. Check it out below, and on YouTube.
Keep an eye out next year when we’ll cover other issues in the same style, connecting more young people with ReachOut’s fact sheets, forums, and specialised support services.
