ReachOut is excited to announce that the organisation’s outgoing CEO, Jono Nicholas, is a finalist for the 2018 Third Sector Awards in the category of CEO of the Year.
This award recognises CEOs that have excelled in creating positive and measurable benefits for their organisation, demonstrated the courage to innovate and provided exceptional leadership within the third sector.
Mr Nicholas said “It is an honour to be nominated for this award and I would like to congratulate all of the finalists in the Third Sector Awards this year. ReachOut is a digital service that exists to help young people cope with whatever life throws at them.  Young people are at the centre of everything we do, and their stories and bravery are an inspiration everyday. This nomination recognises them and the work of all of our dedicated staff.
The Third Sector Awards highlight those doing great things in the NFP sector. The awards will be announced on 25 September 2018 in a ceremony at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
This month Mr Nicholas will step down as CEO of ReachOut, after 10 years in the role and 20 years working with ReachOut.  He will handover this important role to the newly appointed Ashley de Silva.
