Inspire's latest research paper makes a valuable contribution to the evidence base for using technology to deliver mental health services to young people.
The Inspire Foundation research paper 'Reaching the Hard-to-Reach: How Information Communication Technologies (ICT) can reach young people at greater risk of mental health difficulties’  was published last week in Australasian Psychiatry online.
The paper consolidates the existing Australian research on ICT and young people’s mental health and wellbeing and shows that ICT can overcome financial, geographic and psychological barriers to health services, making it an important part of mental health strategy for young people, particularly those at highest risk of mental health problems and suicide.
