On Sunday, 11 August 2013, 20 ReachOut supporters ran Sydney's City2Surf - the world's largest fun run - and raised an incredible $27,598 for ReachOut.com.

This money will fund new initiatives for using technology to provide help and information to young people who are unlikely or unable to get help through more traditional services.

Not only did the team of 20 raise $27k, they contributed to raising awareness of ReachOut.com in their community. Every conversation held, Facebook post made, and email sent as part of their fundraising efforts inspired others to consider the importance of looking after their mental health in the same way they would look after their physical health. Conversations like these can have long-lasting effects, so we're delighted for the support that our runners showed not only for ReachOut but for their friends' and families' wellbeing.

We'd like to send out a giant thank you to our runners: Alex, Amanda, Annie, Damien, Danni, Heather, Jialiang, Johanne, Jonathan, Karen, Katherine, Kerrie, Lisa, Liz, Nikki, Peter, Shane, Shona, and Tina.
