Supporting ReachOut

With your organisation’s support, we can continue
to help young people in Australia.

Right now, 40% of young people in Australia are living with a mental health difficulty. But there’s an even bigger problem: more than 1 million young people with a mental health difficulty are not seeking professional support. The good news is, with your help we can change this!

Raising funds for ReachOut will help us to continue doing what we do best. You can create your own fundraising activity, or we can support you with ideas for your big event and be there to encourage you along the way. We can also work with you to get your workplace involved and make sure that everyone enjoys the journey of raising critical funds and awareness for mental health.

Whether it’s a company trivia night, dress-up day, a bake sale or auctioning off your CEO’s time, there’s plenty of fun and creative ways you can raise money and make a difference.

Other popular ways to demonstrate your organisation’s support for staff wellbeing and mental health include joining our community in March during Laps for Life or for Make a Move in October. More information below.

Every dollar raised is helping us to provide a trusted and safe digital space empowering young people to feel better. Please email us to find out more today!

Please note: This form is intended solely for the purpose of collecting information about fundraising events and is not monitored on a regular basis. ReachOut cannot provide immediate or crisis support.

If you need help right now or know of someone who does, please visit our Urgent Help or Contact Us pages for information and details for 24/7 services.

ReachOut is currently looking to connect with people who have had an experience of school refusal to share their story in the media. We are looking for someone who is over 18, or the parent of a teen. Sharing your story would include being comfortable with your name and photo to be featured on an online news site.

We ask all media participants to carefully consider if sharing their story in the media is right for them at the moment. Please note that briefing and support will be provided for anyone who chooses to take part in this volunteering opportunity.

Please note that we have only listed the states relevant for this media opportunity.

We often receive a large amount of interest in taking part in media events, so we will not be able to get back to everyone who responds to us.
