In 1997, ReachOut was born from a groundbreaking idea: to use the internet to make digital self-help available for young people.

Since then, ReachOut Australia has become the country’s leading digital mental health service, with more than 150,000 young people and parents turning to our trusted services every month.

Sadly, though, suicide still remains the leading cause of death for young people. We have to do more.

This is why we have a plan to help an extra million people by 2020.

ReachOut Australia’s vision for 2020 is one that will make digital self-help integral to the mental health system, that will break new ground to help more people, and that will inspire greater support to accelerate change.

But most of all, it’s a vision for all young people in Australia to be happy and well, with the right help easily available whenever they need it.
